Welcome to the Berkshire League XC Championship Meet

Berkshire League coaches and their team are invited to compete in the Berkshire League Championship Cross Country Meet starting at 2:45 PM on Friday, October 19, 2018. The meet is open for registration by coaches of their high school age athletes competing with their Berkshire League high school team. The meet will be held at the Black Rock State Park course/facility in Thomaston, CT.

Coaches should review 2018 meet information at the Athletic.net Meet Information page as well as start their Athletic Net event entry on 09/20/2018 with an entry deadline of 6:00pm Eastern, Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Welcome to the 2018 Naugatuck Valley League Cross Country Championship Meet

Naugatuck Valley League coaches and their team are invited to compete in the Naugatuck Valley League Cross Country Championship Meet starting at 2:30PM on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 with a coaches' meeting at 2:15pm. The meet is open for registration by coaches of their high school age athletes competing with their Naugatuck Valley League high school team. In case of inclement weather, ADs will decide before noon on Wednesday and notify coaches. Rain date will be Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Coaches should review 2018 meet information at the Athletic.net Meet Information page as well as start their Athletic Net event entry on 09/20/2018 with an entry deadline of 6:00pm Eastern, Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Welcome to the 2018 CCC Cross Country Championship

Central Connecticut Conference coaches and their teams are invited to the CCC Cross Country Championship Meet starting at 3:00pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. The meet is open for registration by coaches representing their high school age athletes competing with their high school teams of the Central Connecticut Conference. (Rain date is Thursday, October 18, 2018). In case of inclement weather, a decision will be made by 12 noon and an email will be sent to all Athletic Directors.)

Please make sure to read all meet information including registration details, course map and order of events at the CCC Cross Country Championship Meet website.

Reminder that the Deadline for Athletic.net Event entry is Friday at 9:00pm Eastern, October 12, 2018.

The Team Entry reports for the 7th Winding Trails XC Invitational are available on the Meet Reports page at the meet website for coaches who made on-time entries.

Notes from Kent Rutledge of Timing Plus New England:

  • On race day, run only 7 VARSITY ATHLETES for the Boys and Girls Varsity Races.
  • Coaches will be contacted by the Timing Plus New England service for an initial list of which 7 athletes will compete in the Varsity Race.
  • Coaches will still be able to make changes on race day since everyone receives a bib.
  • All other non-varsity high school athletes can run in the JV races. You may run an unlimited number of athletes in the non-varsity races.
  1. Reminder to parents of athletes and spectators attending the meet that there is a $5.00 per car fee for entering the Winding Trails facility.

The Team Entry reports for the 7th Harry Geraghty XC Invite are available on the Meet Reports page at the meet website for coaches with on-time entries.

  1. Do not send any emails for scratching athletes from the meet.
  2. Please address any meet administration questions to: Peter Anthony at Coachanthony1@cox.net  or at 860-402-4251. Please include your school name and contact phone number in all correspondence.
  3. High School Coaches - On race day, coaches will run only 7 VARSITY ATHLETES for the Boys and Girls Varsity Races. All other non-varsity high school athletes can run in the JV races. There is no need for a coach to decide who runs in which race until race day since everyone receives a bib number and a shoe chip.
  4. Middle school Coaches - Competitors in the Middle School races will be issued race numbers with shoe chips and provided finish results. Standard cross-country scoring will determine team places; the first 1-5 runners score for their team while the 6th-7th runners displace other runners on other teams.
  5. Please make sure to make your entry fee payment as soon as possible or bring with you to the meet and deliver to Meet Director Peter Anthony.
