Final Team Entry Reports and Coaches' Last Minute Information Posted for 6th Sloper Relays

9/19/2016 7:15pm

The final Team Entry reports and Coaches' Instructions for the 6th Sloper Relays have been made available at the Meet Reports page for coaches to review.

We are excited for the upcoming meet this Friday.  We've grown from 19 to 29 teams this year and have some fun additions for the runners.  Please read the Coaches' Last Minute Information that we hope you can share with your parents and athletes.

Our biggest challenge on Friday will be parking.  We may be sending out an additional note in the middle of the week adding shuttle parking to accommodate the increase in spectators – particularly the Middle School parents.  Please communicate that if spectators want to be sure that they see they're son or daughter, that they come AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to the race.  We will have a large parking staff, but it will take time to get them on the property.

Please address any meet questions to: Dan Dachelet, Email Address: coachdashxc@gmail.com  . Please include meet name, your school name and contact phone number in all correspondence.

If you have yet to mail in the entry fee, please bring with you to the meet.  After you arrive, please come to the Meet Headquarters located in the main pavilion near the flagpole.  Check in will be under the overhang in front of McLeod Pavilion.

Finally, please remember that the Southington High School XC team is using the 6th Sloper Relays to help impact their community with a Food Drive Challenge for all participating teams. Please review the Food Drive Challenge notice with your teams and see if your team can Be Creative, Inspire Others and Impact a Community!
